Root Canal Retreatment

In most circumstances, a single root canal treatment is highly successful.  In some circumstances, a second treatment may be necessary.  This is called a “retreatment”.  In that case, the filling is removed and the canal is cleaned a second time.  A new filling is inserted, reshaped and completed.
